Windows XP




Windows XP Operating System is the most widely used at present is due to the familiar, user-friendly and others - others. But sometimes the performance of Windows XP is very slow due to some problems but I have tips to speed up the performance of your windows XP!
Avoid File - File unused

Too many files to make windows xp performance becomes very slow and therefore you should delete the files - files that you do not need and how:

1. Defragmenter

Do it every time because the defragmenter could be laying out your files and speed up the performance of your windows xp.

How To: My Computer>> Right Click Hard Drive>> Properties>> Tools Tab>> Defragmentation.

Function: To rearrange the files - the files are fragmented so it reduces the disk space and speed up file searches.

2. Disk Cleanup

How To: My Computer>> Right Click Hard Drive>> Properties>> Disk Cleanup.

Function: To delete the files - files that are no longer needed as the recycle bin, temporary files, offline storage, etc..

3. Add or Remove Programs

Use this if you have applications that are no longer used to reduce disk space and speed up the performance of your windows xp.

How to: Control Panel>> Add or Remove Programs

Function: Unistall or Remove programs or applications that have been unused.

4. Startup Programs

If your computer to load each first entered it because the desktop startup program (first program on the desktop when the computer is entering) and eat lots of memory and this of course reduces the performance of your windows.

How to: Start>> Run>> msconfig>> Startup Tab>> Select the unwanted applications>> Remove the check

Function: To make the application is not running at the time of entering the desktop.

5. Stabilize Memory

RAM (Random Access Memory)

If your computer is slow because of the capacity of your ram or a little less then I recommend to buy cheap RAM wrote most only Rp. 500,000.

Stabilizing the Virtual Memory

Virtual Memory required to store temporary data such as the RAM is useful for adding your ram capacity and is not recommended for its large capacity ram.

- How to: Right click My Computer>> Properties>> Advanced Tab>> Performance>> Settings>> Advanced>> Virtual Memory>> Change (Just be set by you)

Function: To add a temporary data storage capacity.
Graphic Performance

If the capacity of your VGA bit (like I am) and you do not need a good visual graphics that it is better to follow my advice with windows and turn off all the effects this will speed up your Windows XP performance.

- How to: Right click My Computer>> Tab Advanced>> Performance>> Settings>> Visual Effects Tab>> Select Adjust for Best Performance
